Hails from: Portugal. Grapes: Chardonnay, Arinto
Lovely fine bubbles with a mid-lemon colour. Fresh aromas of conference pear, lemon and minerality. As the wine’s only had 10 months on its lees it’s difficult to pick up any autolysis until you get to drinking it; here you have crispy grapefruit and conference pear, a light body but high acid and soft alcohol, finishing with a slight creamy note. Great wine for summer and would match well with calamari or other small plates.
