Ben Franks Wine Pick Award for Best Ever Wines 98-100pts99/100

(how do my ratings work?)

Hails from: Champagne, France. Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir

Already a medium gold from its age with a very fine and steady mousse on the eye. Mature, toasty nose followed by a bone-dry palate with green apple fruit, a weighty mouth-coating texture and vibrant acidity. The finish is pleasantly long. This is the kind of Champagne you don’t forget. Pairs really well with mussels or baked salmon.
