Hails from: Upper Rhine of Alsace, France. Grapes: Pinot Blanc (50%), Pinot Auxerrois (50%)
Made by the winery Dopff, one of Europe’s oldest wineries. This sparkling wine has a light golden intensity with a very fine steadily-rising mousse. Apples, white flower and yeast on the nose. The palate’s delicate, the mousse softly textured, with flavours of lemon pith, green apple and grape fruit. Acidity is high, balanced by a long dry finish with pithy tones.
