Hails from: Reggiano, Italy. Grapes: Lambrusco

Very attractive deep ruby colour and you can smell the damson plums right off the mark. Lightly sparkling. Alongside plums you get the classic Beaujolais nose of red cherry fruit as well. Softly textured, dry and mouthcoating. Cherries, cranberries and plums linger for a little while. Very pleasant. Try lightly chilled with spaghetti bolognese.
