Hails from: Alsace, France; Grapes: Gewurztraminer

I personally really like this wine. The nose is lighter than most Gewurz with floral notes like rose petal and elderflower. There’s also hints of mango. The palate is pretty inoffensive with a soft acidity and juicy body. Pear, white pepper and satsuma notes dominate. If you warm it up in your hand you start getting those lovely Turkish delight notes. This would be a good choice for introducing someone new to Gewurz’s pungent style of wine. Try with spicy food or gorgonzola.
