Hails from: Jerez (Andalucia), Spain; Grapes: Palomino
What a little surprise this sherry is. Nutty, warming and brimming with fig and citrus. The alcohol at 19% ABV is well integrated and smooth. It’s full bodied and the hints of biscuit are the cherry on top. I would pair this with Spanish tapas, especially if there’s lots of spicy sausage and hams, or give it a go with sponge desserts.
