(how do my ratings work?)

Hails from: Lisbon, Portugal; Grapes: Tinta Roriz, Castelao and Touriga Nacional

Medium-full looking to a cherry red colour. Stewed fruit on the nose with cassis notes and ripe plums. It feels thinner than you might expect with cherry kirsch flavours, charred wood, textured tannins and a plummy palate. The finish has hints of cocoa and toast but it’s short-lived. For the price the wine’s perfectly gluggable but easily forgotten.
