Hails from: Douro, Portugal; Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca

Deep and full bodied with a heft 14% ABV alcohol and a nose of blackcurrant cassis, clove and black pepper. Aged 16 months in oak keeps the palate soft and well balanced with leathery tannins and a rich mixture of blackberry, pepper, cedar wood and savoury spice. A really impressive red wine that everyone should taste and proof positive that some of the finest full bodied reds are coming out of Portugal.
