Hails from: Douro Valley, Portugal; Grapes: Verdelho
Deep gold colour with an indulgent nose of juicy grapefruit and toasty vanilla. The palate is a mix of ripe peach and grapefruit with a hint of tannin from wood ageing. The oak notes are predominantly sweet coconut and vanilla spice, which is pretty potent versus the fruit character so avoid well-chilling. Enjoy lightly chilled with poultry.
