(how do my ratings work?)

Hails from: Bairrada, Portugal; Grapes: Baga

Deeply coloured for what is a medium-bodied red wine. Aromas in this wine remind me of young Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux: vegetable and forest floor with blackberry fruit. It’s similar on the palate as well with cocoa, blackcurrant, cassis and green vegetable notes. It’s still too young but very approachable for a Baga-varietal red, so fair play to Vadio. Great cheese wine.
