Hails from: Douro, Portugal; Grapes: Tinta Roriz, etc.

Rich, raisined nose and a deep caramel colour. Yeasty and nutty aromas typical of a Tawny shine through as well. It’s sweet but not quite enough to balance the heat of the alcohol. Prunes, cherries and hazelnuts make up the flavours of the wine. It’s certainly indulgent but the finish is a touch short-lived.
