(how do my ratings work?)

Hails from: Mantinia, Greece; Grapes: Moschofilero

When I got into wine, Moschofilero was one of the first really exciting white wine grapes I tasted. I had always found the “mineral” quality about a wine review a little confusing, but there’s no other way to describe this style from Semeli’s premium Mantinia Nassiakos number: it’s mouth-watering, full, refreshing and vividly floral. Notes of rose and fresh, bright lemon lead into a finish that’s like biting into a watermelon. If you ever want to be transported to the Greek islands by flavour, this wine – chilled – is exactly how you do it. It’s ridiculously easy to love.
