Hails from: Waipara, New Zealand. Grapes: Pinot Noir

Greystone is an organic winery with vineyards planted on the Omihi hills in New Zealand. Here, they make the most of limestone soils giving their wines a grace and freshness. The 2014 vintage is a fuller bodied style of Pinot Noir that’s well-balanced with the alcohol for a New World style (it sits at 13.5%). Rich aromas of baked plum turn into black cherries and currants on the palate with a fresh, light finish and petal hints. It’s a warming, delicious Pinot Noir that’s great for the colder season.
