The next generation of entrepreneurs inspire me. I love working with them and learning as much as they hopefully learn from me.

I am lucky enough to work in higher education as a consultant and guest speaker. It means I get to meet some fantastic people, hear some brilliant ideas and help them get funding and support to turn those ideas into real, tangible businesses.

In 2015, I built and designed the BathSparks Freelance and Entrepreneur programme alongside David Jarman for Bath Spa University. The Sparks programme still funds projects to this day and I regularly run workshops, seminars and consult with the strategy of the programme for the University.

I have also run workshops with the sixth form at Beechen Cliff School and Sarum Academy, as well as working with the entrepreneurship team at the University of West England.

Keen to keep giving back, I now mentor several start-up founders and young freelancers. From insight into grabbing opportunities and what slip-ups to avoid in the early stages to support when they need it most, mentoring is incredibly rewarding.

If you’d like me to host a workshop or talk at your University or college, please get in touch! I would love to hear from you.
