Masterclass Tasting FAQ

Deposit: You will need to pay a deposit equal to 25% of your total Masterclass booking to confirm the time and dates of your choosing. This deposit is refundable outside of the cancellation period if you choose not to go ahead with the booking.

Balance Payment: The remaining total balance (75%) must be paid 28 days prior to your event. This allows us to secure the wines, venue and other amenities that ensure the event runs smoothly and successfully for you. Some customers choose to book a Masterclass and pay in full; this is fine.

Payment types accepted: We accept payment by BACS via an invoice or we can take payment over the phone. All major debit and credit cards are accepted.

Cancellation: You may cancel your booking up to 28 days before the event. Please give written notice by email and ensure we have received your cancellation request. Your deposit (and other related payments) will be refunded if cancelled 28 days before your event.

Venue fee: Most customers ask us to host Masterclasses in their home or private venue. Bookings for venues made by BFW may be subject to a venue fee, especially if you book at a popular time such as evenings, Friday or Saturday. We have great relationships in Bath, Bristol, Salisbury, London, Oxford and Cambridge so venue fees here are unlikely to be too expensive.

Travel fee: All tastings booked in Bath + 1 mile radius are catered with no travel fee. Any address beyond that is charged a standard rate of £75. We cater across the UK mainland but addresses further than 60 miles may incur extra fees.
