KEY POINTS

Varietal Cabernet Sauvignon with 14.2%. Abv. Cold maceration followed by temperature controlled fermentation and a week’s post-fermentation maceration before finishing with 15 months in French barrels prior to bottling.

Grown in: Jinshan area of Helan Mountain East, Ningxia, CHINA.

Food Pairing

Venison would be a class act with this wine. It would also pair well with bean casserole topped with garlic bread, or shepherd’s pie.

About the Producer

Jade Vineyard is located in the Jinshan region of China with vineyards planted on the eastern foothills of Mount Helan, beside Yinchuan City. The vines are nearly 1200m above sea level and cover an impressive 22 hectares. The winery is headed by owner Emma Ding and have been met with international acclaim, proving China is capable of producing extremely fine wine.
