Ben says
★★ Great Wine “Intensely soft and led by blackcurrant fruit over eucalyptus, blackcurrant leaf, vanilla pod and cloves. It’s bold but young, showing pops of pepper-like alcohol warmth then black liquorice, blackberries and spicy cassia bark. It finishes with more wood and a slightly minty note. It’s a very moreish Pauillac, even if it does need some time.“

Food Pairing
I drank this very happily on its own, but if I were to pair it with food I’d carve some topside beef and serve it with juicy cherry tomatoes and rocket.
