Ben says

★★ Great Wine Aromas of apple turnover and yoghurt, this smells sweet and ripe for a Burgundy. It is peachy with tight acidity and a linear texture on the palate. Clean and pure in style, even with the riper, fruit focus. Wood is nicely integrated and adds some structure and depth.

Great Wine - La Belouse Macon Cruzille

KEY POINTS

Varietal Chardonnay from old vines with 13.5% abv.

Grown in: Mâconnais, Burgundy, FRANCE.

Food Pairing

Chicken and leek pie, roast turkey and all the trimmings, baked quiche and buttery new potatoes, or a cheese fondue. All would work well. However, the real winner for this one is a deep, creamy risotto.
