Ben says
★★ Great Wine “Aromas of apple turnover and yoghurt, this smells sweet and ripe for a Burgundy. It is peachy with tight acidity and a linear texture on the palate. Clean and pure in style, even with the riper, fruit focus. Wood is nicely integrated and adds some structure and depth.“
KEY POINTS
Varietal Chardonnay from old vines with 13.5% abv.
Grown in: Mâconnais, Burgundy, FRANCE.
Food Pairing
Chicken and leek pie, roast turkey and all the trimmings, baked quiche and buttery new potatoes, or a cheese fondue. All would work well. However, the real winner for this one is a deep, creamy risotto.
