Ben says
★★ Great Wine “Black tea, ethereal red fruits and violets are immediately attractive on the nose. It’s a more youthful and fruit-forward Taurasi than one with age but it’s beautifully and cleanly handled. The wine mellows into a juicy, long finish. “

KEY POINTS
Varietal Aglianico with 14.0% abv. Temperature controlled fermentation with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks. 70% of the blend is aged in French oak barriques for 14 months. The final blend is bottled and aged for a further 20 months prior to release.
Grown in: Taurasi, Campania, ITALY.
Food Pairing
Fresh pasta with a meat ragu would work a charm. It’s also going to be a pretty stellar steak wine.
