Ben says
★★ Great Wine “Aromatic for Chardonnay with precise cured apple aromas, butter curd, lemon and vanilla. Bright acidity and viscous in texture, the wine’s full body carries a mix of grapefruit, apple, clove, and tangy lemon. There is a natural mouth-watering acidity. The oak is well integrated, softly adding spice and wood notes. This is good value Burgundy to drink now.“
KEY POINTS
Varietal Chardonnay with 13.0% abv. The grapes are harvested from east-facing slopes opposite Corton-Charlemagne in the Pernand-Vergelesses. Matured for 10 months in French oak.
Grown in: Cote d’Or, Burgundy, FRANCE.
Food Pairing
Light oak integration along with plenty of fruit makes for a great seafood wine – especially with crab and some garlic aioli.
