About the Producer
Cantine Povero has a range of vineyards in the heart of Piedmont and was established in 1948 by Bartolomeo Povero. The winery today remains in family hands, managed by his grandchildren; Alessio and Margherita look after the cellar and winemaking, Daniele works in the vineyards whilst Luca and Romano head up the commercials. The estate is committed to sustainable viticulture with no chemical fertilisers or herbicides used and a commitment to solar power. The water used on the estate is drawn from their own well.
