Ben says
★★ Great Wine “Softly aromatic with banana, peach melba, apple and cream. This wine’s juicy and almost oily in its viscosity. Long in the mouth with plenty more fruit, a hint of blossom, and some caramac-like notes. I’d never have guessed this as Malvazija, but it’s lovely.“

About the Producer
Edi Simcic and his son Aleks are still the core family team behind Edi’s namesake winery, but the third generation, Aleks’ children, are already learning the trade to take up the mantle in the future. The winery is based in Goriska Brda in western Slovenia, near the Italian border, where the vines enjoy a mix of the Southern Alps and Mediterranean influence.
