★★ Great Wine “Lovely fresh aromas. The palate is exciting. It’s somehow managing to be citrussy, oily, grippy, fresh and sweetly ripe all at once. There’s fleshy apple, white peach and sweet melon. Minerality is there in a salinity to the finish and length that brings through brighter citrus. I really like this.”
100% Chardonnay with 13.5% abv. Grown on elevated sites. Free run juice is settled and then wildly fermented in concrete egg and 50% in tight grain 300L French oak barrels. Aged for 10 months. Malolactic fermentation is discouraged to preserve crispness.
