Ben says

★ Good Wine It’s the peach that jumps out, fresh yet unctuous smelling on the nose. It feels immediately juicy. The stone fruit aroma is pinned by ripe lemon, lees character, and a hint of banana soft chews, which I often get from Grenache Blanc. On the palate it’s tropical and peachy with bittersweet lemon pith and a long, fresh finish.

Ben Franks Wine Tasting Note Producer Profile

About the Producer

Domaine Albin Jacumin has vineyards across the Chateauneuf du Pape appellation in the regions of Brusquieres, Terres Blanche, Bois Dauphin, Colombis, Tresquoys, Les Marines, Cabanne, Cansaud, Le Pointu, Pied de Baud, Moulin a Vent, Galliguieres, and Les Serres with a mix of rolling pebbles, red sandstone and clay-limestone subsoils.

Yields are 25-30 HL per hectare. All the grapes are hand-picked. Winemaking is in concrete and the ageing is a mix of concrete and barrels, including halves, to add a light touch of wood.
