Ben says

★★ Great Wine This wine is far too young but being a glutton for acidity I’m all for it. Perfumed with a mix of lime and apple blossom, the palate is shows off something closer to sweet and floral Pink Lady apples with an electric and dry finish.

Guerrieri Rizzardi '3 Cru' Amarone della Valpolicella Red Wine

KEY POINTS

Varietal Riesling with 12.0% abv. Night hand-harvested from the ‘Florita’ (little flower) vineyard on terra rossa and loamy soils over limestone. The fruit is chilled, pressed and cold settled before fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.

Grown in: Clare Valley, South AUSTRALIA.

Food Pairing

I would enjoy this with any grilled fish, but with its perfumed apple flavours it’s particularly stellar with oily fish like mackerel.
