All that plummy character you’d expect from Merlot. Oak integration is obvious, but not brutish. It’s a soft, spicy palate with dried fruits. Lighter from maturity. A nice kick of acidity keeps things fresh. Brilliant.“

Food Pairing
This is a cracking wine, but it’s going to sing alongside simple but delicious food. Put it with a quarter pounder, grilled on an open flame BBQ, in a quality bun with tomato and blue cheese. Delicious.

About the Producer
A large Moldovan winery. They have more than 350 hectares but are still producing some outstanding quality wines. The winery was founded in 1822 and today they export to countries all over the world.
