Ben says
★ Good Wine “Very interesting nose, almost fennel-like with some lovely depth. On the palate it’s creamy with pink grapefruit, smoked apple and apricot. Long, slightly savoury finish.”
KEY POINTS
Roussanne and Marsanne blend with 13.5% abv. Sourced from 100 year old vines.
Grown in: Northern Rhone, FRANCE.
Food Pairing
Spinach and feta filo pastry pie, like Spanakopita, would work very well – if you can manage not to pick a Greek wine for it. The wine would also work well with a dish that carries some natural sweetness, like poached salmon, or it can take a bit of heartiness alongside something like pasta bake.
