Ben says

★★ Great Wine “Lime gold with streaking legs. Aromas of quince, apple, sheep’s milk cheese, satsuma and herbs. Oily, flinty, spicy and waxy with apple, lemon rind, orange and grapefruit. Piercing acidity and a savoury finish make this marvellous to sip.”

Falerio, Maison Saladini Pilastri

KEY POINTS

Trebbiano, Pecorino, Passerina, Chardonnay and Fiano blend described as an “ancient blend”. Certified organic.

Food Pairing

The savouriness makes this a uniquely good wine to enjoy with olives. It’s also great with classic zippy white wine pairings like grilled white fish or simple poultry dishes. It will match well with Cornish Yarg, Pecorino or goat’s cheese, too.
