Ben says

★★ Great Wine Sherbet and grape sorbet-like aromas. Dense citrus, some lemon cream, peach and packs of floral character – white blossom, honeysuckle and sweet lime. It’s very sweet but fresh and finishes with a surprising lift given the concentration and sugars. Very well made example.

Guerrieri Rizzardi '3 Cru' Amarone della Valpolicella Red Wine

KEY POINTS

100% Moscato Bianco with 5.5% abv. Fermented cold in steel, sealed tanks to capture CO2 and a natural spritz, a process known as the Asti Method.

Grown in: Asti, Piedmont, ITALY.

Food Pairing

I drank this with a take on dal makhani with spiced paneer and udon noodles, and it was delicious. The next day I tried it with a very spicy soy and Pak choi hot and sour soup, which worked less well but was still pleasant (the spice overpowered the floral/fruitiness a little). Would also take on a cheeseboard beautifully.
