Ben says
★★ Great Wine “Just caught this one. Slightly musty but mainly fresh nose full of honeyed apple, cured pear, white flowers and dried citrus. Very high acidity with buttery, almond tones and dried apple fruit. A little vanilla and hay. Some botrytis flavours. This was probably a stunner a year ago, but it still shines.“

About the Producer
Domaine Pichot has a 28 hectare vineyard over the town of Vouvray on the right bank of the Loire. They are specialists with the Chenin Blanc grape variety and their vines are an average age of 30 years old, giving a lower yield but more concentration. The current generation are Christophe and Caroline Pichot, who continue a legacy that dates back to the family founding the estate in 1770.
