★ Good Wine “Dark purple, almost opaque. Dense aromas of black cherry, blueberry, mossy wood, tobacco and mint. Textured, tannic, rustic and tangy with bold but savoury flavours. It opens up into a deep, ripe cherry note and green woody tones. An interesting wine that seems to steer in all sorts of directions, but is overall pleasant and satisfying.“
Varietal Kekfrankos with 12.5% abv. Spontaneous fermentation, organic and bottled unfiltered. Matured for 21 months in Hungarian oak barriques and a further 16 months in bottle before release.
Grown in: Villany, HUNGARY.
The tangy, earthy character paired with the wine’s lush fruit makes it a natural pairing for grilled lamb or fattier meats like that.
