Ben says
★ Good Wine “Recognisably Merlot on the nose with its heady aromas of plums, ripe blackcurrants, cedar and liquorice. More of that comes through on the palate with pleasant oak integration showing itself as a lightly sweet vanilla note. It is a little short and wanting on the finish – but then I am not the biggest fan of Merlot’s slightly bloated character when it’s grown somewhere warm.”
