Ben says
★ Good Wine “Picture perfect rosé colour wise, which is becoming quite the art to balance between lightly pink and not pink at all. The nose is subtle but driven by summer fruits and a little zest of Mediterranean orange. It’s equally light and refreshing on the palate. Pockets of interest are found in hints of dried strawberry or tangy pomegranate. It is simplicity done very well.”

About the Producer
Château d’Esclans is in the heart of Provence, where the most famous modern rosé wines are produced – and its Whispering Angel brand is arguably the most famous rosé brand of all time. Sacha Lichine, who purchased the Château d’Esclans estate in 2006, created the Whispering Angel brand and has grown its vineyard holdings to 108 acres. LVMH took a majority stake in Château d’Esclans in 2019 for an undisclosed sum.
