★ Good Wine “The new No.1 wine range from Waitrose continues to be exciting to explore. This Douro Bianco is full of fruit. Green apple, bittersweet grapefruit, stone fruits, and gauva-like juiciness all sit above creamy lees ageing. There’s a bit of sweetness and some fruit development that makes for quite a big mouthful, even if you sip it, but you can’t fault it for character.“

About the Producer
This wine was made exclusively for Waitrose’s premium No.1 Range by La Rosa under third generation owner Sophia Bergqvist and winemaker Jorge Moreira. Quinta De La Rosa make a few of Waitrose’s own label wines, although they are most famous for their single Quinta ports.
