Ben says
★ Good Wine “Cape Chenin Blanc is generally a hit. Bellingham’s limited release starts with those tantalising pithy citrus, peach and apple aromas that reflect Chenin’s ability to be both fruity and lightening fresh. On the palate it is creamier with a big kick of yoghurty malo, and more developed dried fruit character. It has the hallmarks of a great wine, but it’s perhaps a little bloated under its own winemaking. I’ll revisit the vintage in a couple of years!“

About the Producer
Bellingham in Franschhoek planted its first 100 vines in 1693. After years of winemaking and generations of releases, the estate was purchased by Bernard and Fredagh Podlashuk in 1943. The pair pioneered quality and innovation at the winery and it is today one of South Africa’s most recognised producers.
