Ben says

★★ Great Wine “Not super aromatic but the fizz is lively and it has delicate fruity and lees hues. It’s a graceful and flavourful palate with a creamy mix of apple and white peach. A stylish, well-made trad-method fizz – but that’s what you’d expect from Berlucchi!”

Ben Franks Wine Tasting Note Producer Profile

About the Producer

Founded in 1955 by Guido Berlucchi, Franco Ziliani and Gioergi Lanciani, Berlucchi family winery is credited with Franciacorta’s modern renaissance. Guido produced the first traditional method wine in Franciacorta in 1961. After 60 years at the helm, Franco Ziliani passed control of Berlucchi to the next generation and his three children Cristina, Arturo and Paolo took over. In 2022 Gambero Rosso awarded them ‘Winery of the Year’.
