Ben says

★ Good Wine Ruby-red with cherry pigments. This wine is full of squashed strawberries on the nose, a deeply fruity and juicy aroma. There’s softness from micro-oxidation and notes of sweet vanilla and oak. On the palate the wine’s still raw and full of energy. It’s high in alcohol and plush. It hasn’t yet scaled to the soft plumey heights of its potential but its nonetheless a tasty and bullish wine.

Food Pairing

A raw and bullish red like this can overpower food easily, so go bold with some very mature cheddar and a pongy cheeseboard, or try it with thick cut ribeye steak.
